Scriptures

I spend a lot of time studying the Scriptures. In particular, I spend a lot of time researching the original words (Hebrew and Greek) and then literally translating them. What I find is that there are a lot of things the Bible says that we aren't seeing. On this page, I've included some of the verses that I've done this with. I usually post them on Facebook as I do them, so this page will be updated frequently.

God WILL bless you and He WILL keep you. He WILL look upon you and be gracious to you. He WILL lift His face to you and lock inside of you safety, health, prosperity, peace and deliverance. - Numbers 6:24-26

A song from David to God.

You are my shepherd. You provide all I lack.
You make me crouch in a field with fresh food.
Waters of rest flow by me.
You restore my vigor. You guide me in the way I should go.
You give the righteous a purpose.
You walk with me to the grave. I fear no evil.
Your correct me when I need it. You also support me because You are merciful.
You prepare a table for me in sight of those who would oppress me.
You anoint my head with rich oil. It pours off of me into a cup and then overflows the cup!
You cause goodness and kindness to fervently chase me down all my life.
And when my life is over, I will take my rightful place in the house of God forever. - Psalm 23

Brag on God! Happy are those who revere God. They listen intently and passionately and have strong feelings for God's commands. The seeds that they sow will bring about a lot of fruit! Hallelujah! It will produce as much wealth as their entire house requires. Those who follow God's commands will live forever! They will be like a giant flashlight to those in ignorance. The ignorant will call them courteous, kind and pleasant, full of compassion and just. They help and give to those who have need. They make thoughtful choices using sound judgment. Once they make a decision, there's no changing their minds forever. Their good judgment will be remembered forever. In the face of bad news that causes others to fear, they run quickly for refuge in God, who will cause their minds and emotions to rest, even when they face fearsome trouble. They sow lots of financial seeds among those who have need. They are eternally righteous. Their authority grows with honor. - Psalm 112:1-9

Here is what God says:
It is a delightful time when you listen to Me. Today is the day of deliverance, health, salvation and welfare. I will help you. I will protect you. I give you My promise that your family will conquer the earth. You will get back your inheritance. - Isaiah 49:8

The holes in His hands and feet were because of our rebellion. He was beaten because of our moral evil. He was suspended so we could have safety, welfare, health, prosperity and peace. His flesh was marked with scars so our flesh would mend. - Isaiah 53:5

It is an established fact that God plans for your safety, health, prosperity and peace, not bad things! Expect your reward! - Jeremiah 29:11

Let the priests worship the Almighty. Let them weep at the bronze laver. Let them say, "Regard Your people, Almighty God. Give us our inheritance. Disgrace the kingdom of the enemy. Declare that we are a mighty people." - Joel 2:17

Because of the blood covenant, I will release all of those bound, even the ones in the nastiest pit. Return to safety, prisoners, and have hope! Today, I declare that everything lost comes back double! - Zecheriah 9:11-12

In this way, pray:

My creator in Heaven,

Your name, authority and character are sacred and holy. You are bringing your royal palace. What you determine comes to pass, both in Heaven and on earth. You are giving me the things I need right now. You send away my debts when I write off the debts of those who owe me. Don't let me become a prisoner to adversity. Instead, rescue me from the hurtful and the evil. Because you own the royal palace, the active strength and the glory for all eternity.

Of this I am sure. - Matthew 6:9-13

The body's light is the eye. Therefore, if your eye is clear, your whole body is well-illuminated. But if your eye is evil in effect or influence, your whole body is full of darkness. If, therefore, the light in you is dark, how dark is the darkness in you? - Matthew 6:22-23

But desire first the royal palace of God and His righteousness and all these will be laid beside you like gifts for royalty. - Matthew 6:33

Moreover, from the days of John the Baptist until now, the realm of the heavens is seized and the forceful seize it. - Matthew 11:12

Again, I say to you, if two of you agree anywhere on the earth doing anything, what those two call for will exist, because I am with My father in Heaven.

This is why. If two or three assemble together in My authority, I am there in the middle of them. - Matthew 18:19-20

Speaking again, Jesus taught them, "This truth I say to you all: If you possess faith and do not withdraw from or oppose or hesitate, not only this thing with the fig tree will you do, but also if you say to the mountain, 'Be lifted up and be thrown into the sea,' it will happen. And as much and as great and as many things you ask in prayer, you have faith to take them." - Matthew 21:21-22

And answering, Jesus says to them, "You have God's faith. Because this truth I say to you all: Whoever might say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and be thrown into the sea,' and if he might not oppose his words in his heart, but instead, believes that the attribute of existence is generated in whatever he says. Through this, I say to you all, everything that you ask in prayer, believe that you take and it will be to you." - Mark 11:22-24

Give and others will give to you. They will give to your receiving arms with valuable measure, packed tight - REALLY tight - and overflowing. Because how much you give determines how much is given to you. - Luke 6:38

Be peaceful. I send you prosperity. I don't give as the world gives. My gift to you won't cause you trouble. Have courage! - John 14:27

Rely on the Lord Jesus Christ and safety, health, welfare, prosperity and peace will be given to you and your family. - Acts 16:31

What if some people were disobedient? Will their disobedience make God's truth ineffective? Let it not be! God is true even if no one else is! Just as the scripture says, "Your word causes you to be just and you conquer whenever you decide to." - Romans 3:3-4

When I rely on Christ, He makes the things I say become true.

Therefore, I trust my peace and prosperity to God through my Lord Jesus Christ. It's through Him that I have access (by my reliance on Christ) to - and stand firm in - His unlimited gifts.

Sure, I boast about my expectations of prosperity, but I also boast about the pressure I've experienced. Because that pressure helps me become unwavering. And when I'm unwavering, I overcome the issues of the world. And when I overcome the issues of the world, that just increases my expectations!

And I know my expectations will be fulfilled because God's love is gushed out on my unwavering heart through the gift of the Holy Spirit in me.

From now on, we consider ourselves weak for Christ's sake because He died for our sakes.

Because, you see, it would be difficult for anyone to die for the sake of an innocent man - and someone might possibly venture to die for a charitable man - but God presents His love to us in this manner: even while we were sinners, Christ was dying for our sakes.

And since we are now justified in His blood, we will be protected from the world's torment!

Because if we hateful people are paid up to God through His Son's death, much more, being paid up, we will be protected in His life.

And that's why we boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the debt payment.

Therefore, just as through one certain human being, the sin has entered the orderly arrangement (and through the sin, the death) and in this way, to each and every human being, the death has traversed each and every one who has missed the mark, so also in this manner through the one equitable deed, "life acquittal" has traversed all human beings!

Because, until Law, sin had been in the orderly arrangement (but sin is not counted unless there is Law); nonetheless, the death had ruled from Adam until Moses, and even upon them who had not missed the mark in the fashion of the violation of Adam - who is the prototype of the intention (not in the manner of the unintentional error, but in the way of the spiritual endowment).

If, because of the unintentional error of the one, the many be dead, much more, the graciousness of God and the gift in the graciousness of the one (the human being Jesus Christ) super-abounds to the many.

And the bestowment is not through the one who missed the mark for judgment from the one to condemnation, but the spiritual endowment is from many unintentional errors to an equitable deed.

Because if by the one's unintentional error, the death has ruled through the one, much more the graciousness' superabundance and the justifications' gratuity in life take lordship through the one, Jesus Christ.

Because just as through the disobedience of the one human being, many sinful people were established, in this way also, through the attentive hearkening of the one, many just people will be established.

Also, Law has entered in order to possibly increase the unintentional error; but where the sin has increased, the graciousness has super-abounded so that just as the sin has ruled in the death, in the same way, the graciousness has ruled through justification to perpetual life through Jesus Christ our Lord - Romans 5

The heart trusts for equal standing with Christ. And the mouth agrees with the heart for deliverance, healing and salvation. People who rely on God are not disgraced. - Romans 10:10-11

Be kind to one another. Fellow Christians are your family.
Always take an opportunity to give credit to one another.
Don't let your eagerness to do the Lord's work fade, but have a fervent spirit.
Always be looking for opportunities to do what God's called you to do.
Always look on the bright side.
When the pressure's on, keep praying.
When you see a fellow Christian in need, partner with him or her.
Look for opportunities to be hospitable. - Romans 12:10-13

My response to those who scrutinize me is this:
I absolutely have the privilege to eat and drink. I absolutely have the privilege of marrying and having a family like others in the ministry. Or is it just Barnabas and I who don't have the privilege to not work a "regular" job?

What soldier provides his own pay? What farmer out there doesn't get to eat from his own field? What shepherd out there doesn't get to drink milk from his own goats?

I'm not making this up! The law says the exact same thing!

And it's been true ever since Moses put in the law: Don't put a muzzle on oxen when they're treading out the grain (to prevent them from eating it). This isn't there because God is interested in the well-being of oxen! Get real.

It even says that farmers should EXPECT to get something for their work.

So if I have sowed something spiritual to you, why would it be a big deal for me to reap something material (since spiritual things are much more valuable than material things)? You pay your worldly bills, don't you? But I haven't billed you for anything because, really, I have to preach!

But, you know that those who work in the temple eat the things sacrificed, right? And those who tend to the altar have the right to take the things offered at the altar?

In the same way, the Lord made it a rule that those who preach should be sustained by those who are fed by their preaching. - 1 Corinthians 9:3-14

If the languages of the men I speak and of the angels,
but I have not love,
I generate the sound a hollow vessel makes or the wail a wave makes -- "woooosh!"

And if I have a prohecy and I know all the secrets and all the knowledge and if I have all the faith
so that, therefore, mountains move away,
but I have not love,
I am no one.

And if I supply all the my things brought into existence,
and if I yield up my body so that it is consumed with fire,
but I have not love,
I benefit no one.

Love is patient and acts like it wants good things for others.
Love does not want to take what others have.
Love:
     does not brag on itself,
     does not make proud,
does not act unbecoming of a Christian,
     does not worship the self,
     does not intensely irritate,
     does not keep injury records,
     is not content with injustice, but congratulates the truth;

     cares for everyone patiently,
takes everyone at their word and
     isn't cynical about anything,
     puts up with everyone.

Love never gives up at all. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a

I never stop being grateful when I remember your work for the Lord as I pray, so that the glory of my God, the Lord Jesus Christ the Creator will provide wisdom and revelation and full recognition of Him and enlighten to you so that you may know the calling He's invited you to, and the wealth of glory He's given to you as his heir in the spirit, and know the extreme magnitude of his power to us who rely on Him and the work of His unyielding strength, which He used to raise Himself from the dead and set Himself at His own right hand in Heaven, far above all rules, authority, power, kings and all other prestigious titles, not only in this age, but also in that which will be.

All are set under His authority and He has established Himself as the head over all churches, which are His body, the full supplying of all that is to be fully supplied. - Ephesians 1:16-23

But God, being wealthy in compassion, for his much love which he loved us, and we, being dead people (because of our mistakes), he brought to life together with the anointed one (you are saved by favor) and he raised up together and he gave a seat in company above the sky with anointed Jesus, so that he might demonstrate in the many coming years his gracious surpassing wealth with benevolence on us who are in anointed Jesus. For you are saved by favor - by God-given faith - and not your own. - Ephesians 2:5-8

Because of this, think like Jesus, who - when He was in the shape of God - made the decision that to be similar to God is not theft. However, He took the shape of a servant when He created His human form and became a symbol of good reputation. And in the manner of a human, He submitted Himself to death - the death of the cross. - Philippians 2:5-8

All things I can do in the power of my anointing. And you also have done well by helping provide for my needs. And you Philippians also know that when I started preaching the good news, and was sent to Macedonia, not a single church was on board with the doctrine of giving and receiving except you only. For in Thessalonica, twice you sent what I needed. And not because I wanted a gift, but I desired the doctrine to produce fruit for you! I receive all in full and superabound in quantity and quality now that I have received your sweet-smelling sacrifice from the hands of Epaphroditus. It was well-pleasing to God. And He will make all things completely supplied to you by the wealth that is in glory that is in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:13-19

Pay attention, lest any person traps you with philosophy and pointless delusion according to the beliefs of men which are based on the necessary elements of the universe (the creation) and not according to the anointing. Because, in the anointing permanently resides every necessary element of deity (the creator) physically. And you are given those necessary elements (of deity) in the anointing, which is the source of all beginning and capacity (of the universe). - Colossians 2:8-10

For this reason and in spite of painful experiences, I know my reliance on Him will not make me a fool because He is capable of watching over the things and people I've committed to Him like a sentinel until the appointed time. - 2 Timothy 1:12

Do whatever it takes to make yourself an acceptable exhibit to God, a worker that is undeserving of condemnation or blame who correctly expounds the doctrine of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15

Both He that makes holy and those who are made holy are united. Therefore, He that makes holy is not less holy when He calls the one made holy a sibling. - Hebrews 2:11

Not because we have a high priest who possibly can't sympathize our frailties, but did everything in the same way, without sin.

That's why we should come near the Benefit Throne without worrying about social graces; so that we should take compassion. And we shall discover benefit for timely help. - Hebrews 4:15-16

Faith supports unseen expectations. Worked faith proves the unseen. - Hebrews 11:1

If you sin as a Christian, you haven't lost your gift of being made glorious, because God has already established your portion of that gift. - 1 Peter 4:16

Fear does not exist in Godly love, but complete Godly love throws fear out because fear holds the fearful in prison. But fear is destroyed in Godly love. - 1 John 4:18

And this is the boldness which we have toward him: according to his decree (made in Mark 11:22-24), if we ask anything, he hears what we say. And since we know that he hears what we say, whatsoever we ask, we know that we already have the things asked that we ask from him. - 1 John 5:14-15

Beloved, I pray for you to succeed and to be whole in every way, at the same level as your spirit's success. - 3 John 1:2
